Greetings to all Marketers,
Whether you are a newbie are a seasoned veteran in the world of Internet Marketing, no one seems to be immuned to being scammed or deceived on the world wide web. Greedy and unscrupulous deceivers spare little in their methods to get you to part with your hard-earned money.
Sometimes it is difficult to dicepher through the hype and fluff what the program and system really is. They try to set an emotional tone that by-passes your logical thinking and many are quite good at it. Pretty people with pretty things, ie, shiny cars, million dollar mansions, hundred dollar bills floating down on the screen and many other tall-tale signs.
It seems our best defense in recognizing scams and deceptions is to arm ourselves with knowledge. There are many good sources of information to help understand the hype and fluff from the legitimate and honest programs. Of such, I highly recommend an ebook called "Stop Being A Victim". This ebook, I consider to be a definitive quide to protect ones self against scams and "Internet Theives.
It is important to view advertisements and promotions, whether online or offline, with a grain of salt. There tends to be some measure of truth in all ads but can be manipulated in a deceptful way.
An old adage that has helped many is "If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything." And another, "If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is".
Be careful on the net...Strive be be Wise.
